Each piece from Sterling Ferns is handcrafted with ethically sourced materials. Genuine gemstones and sterling silver are used to handcraft each individual piece of jewelry. Designs for each piece of jewelry are inspired by beautiful Vancouver Island, where I am truly fortunate to call home.

| Sizing Details |
Most of my rings are made-to-order, so my customers can get their favorite piece that’s the right size for them. Items that have been made to fit a customers specifications are considered “made-to-order” items that are not able to be refunded or exchanged. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate sizing information at the time of purchase.
The materials I use are carefully selected and ethically sourced (and often one-of-a-kind), this can result in a variance of supply availability making it hard or impossible to restock some items. For those reasons there are some pieces that are made to a specific size / not adjustable or unable to be replicated. Items of this nature will be made clear in the item description.
| Method Of Payment |
I currently use PayPal as my main method of payment at this time. However, I can also accept payment via Email Money Transfer if requested. If that is the method of payment you wish to use, please email me.
| Processing & Shipping |
Items are shipped from 1-10 business days after payment has been received. Some items are made to order and some are ready to ship (the item description will specify). The time I need to prepare an order for dispatch varies. For details, please see individual items. Please note that I am not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared ‘Delivered’ by the delivery service. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply upon arrival. Sterling Ferns is not responsible for any delays, losses or damages due to shipping or customs.
| Exchanges & Returns |
As most items are made to order with custom sizes I do not accept returns or exchanges at this time. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
If there is a manufacturing defect to your product an exchange or credit will be issued. However if you change your mind about an item after purchase, I do not offer refunds at this time.
| Cancellations |
If you need to cancel your order please do so within 24 hours of purchasing. Some of my jewelry is made to order with custom sizing and I could have already started cutting materials to start making your piece so I appreciate as much heads up as possible if you decide to cancel your order. Please note if it has exceeded 48 hours or a few days, I will have already started cutting and crafting materials for your order and for this reason a cancellation will not be issued once that point has been reached.
| Care Instructions |
Each piece of jewelry is carefully crafted with the highest quality materials available. Please note that no polish or patina finishing is 100% permanent so please use care in cleaning your jewelry.
Do not expose your jewelry to harsh chemicals as various chemicals can damage stones and patina (blackened parts of the silver), cause spotting on the metal, and amplify tarnish of precious metals. I also strongly advise to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and UVB exposure as this can affect the stones natural colouring. It is ideal to store jewelry in a dry metal safe area when not wearing (ideally in an airtight container to prevent tarnish).
Your new jewelry can be gently cleaned with a mild soap, water and a soft bristle toothbrush (Not recommended for pieces with patina).
| Warranty |
I offer a 3 month warranty (unless otherwise specified) to any defects in workmanship on jewelry creation purchases. This does not cover general wear & tear, any damage from daily use or any “man made damage” from lack of proper maintenance or from being dropped. Please note some materials are delicate by nature and will not withstand being dropped. Damage from daily use, accidents, or lack of proper maintenance are not covered under this warranty.
